Film sound effects and music

So that we had sound effects and music ready for when we start editing our film I have started to look at sound effects which we are using.

The sites which I will be using are:

The sounds which we need for our short film are

• Football sounds

This sound effect which I have found from the website freesound.org is a background sound from a football match. This sound will be used to play in some shots when Brian and Neil are sat watching football. 

• ambulance sirens 

This sound effect which I have found from the website freesound.org is ambulance siren, this effect will be used at the closing stages of our short film when Brian is laid on the floor in the result of the car accident. 

• car braking sounds 

This sound effect was also found on the website freesound.org, this effect is a car which is stopping from a fast speed as a result of this the car makes a high pitched braking sound. This will also be used at the end of our film when Brian steps out into the road. 

• bang sounds effects 

The sound effect above has also been found on the website freesound.org, this effect is a loud crashing sound this will be used just before the siren effect to show that the car hits Brian as he steps into the road as a result the car hits him, this effect represents this. 

• title sequence song 

I decided to select this song for our title sequence as I feel it fits perfectly with the genre of our film being supernatural thriller, it captures the paranormal sounds which Brian comes across in our film the music gives a hint of unnatural events which soon follow

• credits song 

I finally decided that this was the perfect fit for the credits in our film. It syncs really well with the end tone to our film which is Brian's death. The piano melody also works well with the supernatural thriller genre.
