Film techniques

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1japIhKU9I

This video learnt us how to use a wide variety of different filming techniques for example slow motion, we would use this in our film to show details where they are most relevant we would use this to capture the detail to the car at the end of our film as it builds up to the accident. also we could use shots used in this film Point Of View shot this would be used to show the male looking around the street before he crosses the road here the male could be looking around to check his surroundings.

The point of view shot is used to show the characters point of view. This gives the viewers more detail via this shot much more than a long shot would. The point of view shot also is used to show an object or building of significance. This can help views to understand whats happening in the scene.

We will also use a series of close up shots to show the detail of the characters hands of cards. This will help us capture the special effect of seeing into the future and back into the present. We will use fade in and fade out we could also add a black and white overlay on this clip to add the effect of the character seeing into the future. Another shot we will include in our short film will be extreme close up. We will use this shot at the end of our short film when he gets hit by the car. This will follow from a black screen to conclude our short film.
